Waste Collector Live!

Waste Collector Live! is the user-friendly crew information system that gets the team working together! A 6.4inch touch-screen display shows the driver everything he needs to know about his route with clear, colour icons. With in-built GPS the screen shows only the premises or jobs of immediate interest.

The screen also allows the drivers to report all the events that they would normally enter on a clipboard or telephone in to the depot, for example bins not presented, contamination, side-waste and damaged bins. This information is recorded at the touch of a button and passed to the depot in seconds.

Round Information

Typically 5-10% of properties on a domestic waste collection round have some special requirements. Assisted collections are the most common, and change frequently. Keeping crews up-to-date is a major challenge and essential to avoiding missed collections.

Waste Collector Live! ensures the crew never overlook an assisted collection again. The list is updated in real-time and new items are highlighted so they cannot be missed.

Recording Events

Waste Collector Live! takes the paperwork out of the vehicle! Drivers record non-presentation, contamination and any other data you wish simply by touching the screen.

This information is immediately transmitted to the depot. A call from a householder can be answered with complete confidence within seconds of the crew leaving. As a result calls are closed more quickly, vehicle recalls are reduced and customer satisfaction is increased.

Routing

The NavigationPlus system adds turn-by-turn navigation to Waste Collector Live! Integrated with current activity, the system can automatically route the crew to the next job, the tip, back to the depot or to rendezvous with another vehicle. No fiddling with post codes or scrolling through street names - select your location and drive!

NavigationPlus immediately reports the chosen destination and estimated arrival time back to the Waste Collector management system. Managers can instantly see where the vehicle is going, when it will arrive and report time spent working, travelling to tip and travelling to the round.

Messaging

Waste Collector Live! allows instant 2-way messaging between the crew and the depot. A fully-feature Group Inbox system allows both group and personal messages to be sent - ideal when working across multiple shifts or with different personnel.
